Concert Tickets often depend on knowing the right people. For instance, when the Moody Blues and Chicago were touring together for their 25th anniversary, the concert here in Dallas was completely sold out. I got great seats because I knew someone who pulled a few strings and got me some great seats. Or, there was the concert on the campus of Texas Christian University — no seats available, but a sponsor was able to get me seats usually filled by members of the Bass family. Or, when my wife and I were in Chicago, and on the spur of the moment wanted to attend Beauty and the Beast, — someone we know was able to get the seats for us.
