Picher Tornado Update

Picher TornadoI previously asked for prayer for my friends in Picher. I placed several phone calls today and I was told that it looks like a battle zone. Six people lost their lives in the tornado, and everyone else lost their homes.

I was told that there is no more Picher, there is just the rubble that used to be Picher. It made me think of General Pickett’s response to Robert E. Lee when he was told to rally his division after returning from the failed charge at Gettysburg, “General Lee, I have no division, now.” The town from which I graduated high school is gone. I have no home town.

Below are several videos of the devastation and one of the devastator.
